Author Tom Earle will be releasing his first novel (I believe) in 2010. In the book The Hat Trick his character is a local hockey star with a promising big league future. But all of that and his own love for the game come in question when he hurts another player. This novel is, like most hockey novels, aimed at the Young Adult market. I think this book has good potential given that it is a compelling story that has been played out in recent years by the likes of Patrice Cormier and Steve Moore.
